04 Nov 2009		 I’m not a very experienced pianist, but not long ago I decided to attempt a larger and more complicated piece of music I played usually before. And a friend of mine, who is keen on playing piano – especially baroque compositions – recommended me playing the semi-opera “The Fairy-Queen” by Henry Purcell. I should say that it’s a rather difficult but interesting and beautiful piece. It has a very diverse character: sometimes it’s playful, sometimes ruthful, but always graceful and refined. I haven’t yet mastered the opera completely, but I’ll do my best to make my play perfect. And I recommend it strongly all pianists who want to try their hands at more serious pieces.
